We, the undersigned, are deeply concerned about the unacceptable state of affairs regarding the security and treatment of the community at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. As representatives of the Indian Congress Party and concerned citizens, we demand urgent intervention to address the following pressing issues:
1. *Unfair Treatment and Verbal Abuse*
There have been numerous allegations of community members being unfairly treated, verbally abused, and even manhandled by security personnel. This behavior is unacceptable in an institution meant to provide care and support.
2. *Lack of Respect for Patients and Visitors*
Visitors have reported being treated disrespectfully, and there is a general disregard for the dignity of patients and their families. This includes issues with parking systems, poor communication, and unprofessional conduct.
3. *Inexperienced Locum Doctors*
The replacement of experienced part-time doctors with locum staff has caused dissatisfaction among patients due to a perceived decline in the quality of care. The community strongly opposes this change and demands the reinstatement of the experienced doctors who previously served the hospital.
*Our Demands*
1. Immediate investigation into the allegations of mistreatment and abuse by security personnel.
2. Renewal of the security staff or company to ensure professionalism and respect for the community.
3. Implementation of a new system to improve visitor experience, parking, and overall treatment at the hospital.
4. Reinstatement of experienced part-time doctors and a commitment to employ competent and qualified staff.
